I choose The Time Machine, by H. G. Wells, for my mental picture go forcomparison. H. G. Wells copyrighted it in 1895. Rod Taylor and YvetteMimieux compete the main characters in the movie. It was directed byGeorge Pal and opened in the year of 1960.There were two main characters in the book and the movie. single of themwas the term traveller, George, whom Rod Taylor played. And the other onewas Weena, the child like charwoman that George the time traveler saves.Yvette Mimieux played her.Both the characters in the movie and the book where very similar in a clutch of ways but I think that George was much action packed in the movieand a little bit more aggressive. And Weena seemed to be a lot quieterin the book then in the movie and you could understand her more in themovie then in the book.The Time Machine starts turn out with the time traveler trying to explainthe time machine and how it plant life to intravenous feeding other science guys. He goeson about four dimension s and how nobody thinks that there is a fourthdimension and how there is nevertheless three. He goes on describing the fourthdimension to them and then he demonstrates how the time machine works.The whole time he is demonstrating it the other four scientists dont agnize what to think. And then it disappears into thin air. All of hisfriends cant believe it and leave. Except one of his friends, DavidFilby a good friend of his.
